Relationships Education and Health Education became compulsory in primary schools in September 2020.

The DfE have produced implementation guidance, PowerPoints and associated teaching materials in order to help schools plan and prepare for the new curriculum.  These are available on the DfE Personal, social, health and economic education page of the Gov.uk website.

System leaders and subject experts from the Lancashire and West Yorkshire Primary RSHE Hub have produced a suite of training materials and resources which are

• guided by the DfE statutory requirements (the ‘what’)
• adapted by local experts (the ‘how’)
• designed for our local contexts
• supported by our own SEND specialists
