Please note: any participants eligible for DfE funding who are withdrawn from an NPQ programme will not be eligible for funding for the same programme in the future. Only apply if you are 100% committed and confident that you can meet all the programme requirements.

To apply for an NPQ, please complete the following two steps:

1. Register with the DfE 

2. Register with Exceed Teaching School Hub

Registration should be completed by you and not your school or setting. The information you provide to Exceed Teaching School Hub will be given to Ambition Institute, who will contact you to start your formal application.

You will need your Teacher Reference Number, your TRN. If you do not have a TRN, you will need one before applying.  Please follow instructions at the bottom of the page here.
